The Valley Weekly

About

A Tuesday Letter

The Valley Weekly is one letter, every Tuesday, about what's actually happening in Western Massachusetts.

Why this exists.

The Valley Weekly began as the email I wanted to read on Tuesday mornings, and could not find anywhere. Something that respected my time. Something that knew the difference between a good Thai place and a great one. Something that did not try to sell me a course.

Each Tuesday, this letter goes out to readers across Hampshire, Hampden, and Franklin counties, and to a meaningful number of people who used to live here and miss it. It is a handful of sections, end-to-end, in about four minutes. We have edited it down so you don't have to.

A few rules.

One letter a week. No daily emails, no breaking news pings. Every Tuesday, that is it.

No clickbait. Every headline is what the piece is actually about.

Sponsors are local, disclosed, and hand-picked.No banner ads, no pop-ups. If we feature a business, it's because we'd send a friend there.

One unsubscribe click. No begging, no hoops.

The team behind it.

The Valley Weekly is edited by Neal Quesnel, with reporting and recommendations from a small group of contributors who actually live here. Real estate coverage comes from a working agent. Restaurant coverage comes from people who have already eaten there twice.

Questions, tips, complaints, restaurant recommendations: hello@thevalleyweekly.com.

Get it Tuesday, before everyone else does.

One letter, every Tuesday. No clickbait, no twelve-tab newsletter sprawl. Just what's worth your weekend.
